These are just some of the things we hear when dealing with grief and loss. All of them are natural responses to the devastating event of loss. And everyone has their own way of coping. You don’t have to compare yourself to someone else’s reactions. You are unique in your own right.
Grief and Loss don’t just have to be associated with the physical loss of someone we love. It can be generated with the loss of career, a close relationship, a loss of physical ability or the loss of expectations.
Whatever sadness you are experiencing, please be assured that we would be privileged to meet you and support you at this time. Grief doesn’t have to be debilitating and overwhelming. And it is not an insult to your loved one to work through your grief to achieve acceptance.
